Sustaining Partners

ITONF would like to recognise our sustaining partners:

If your organisation would like to establish a long-term relationship with the International Thoracic Oncology Nursing Forum (ITONF) and wish to demonstrate your commitment to lung cancer patients by helping the ITONF improve patient care, health care delivery and outcomes for patients, their families and carers you would benefit most from becoming a Sustaining Partner.  This Forum provides nurses with opportunities for training, education, build on current nursing infrastructures and knowledge transfer throughout the continuum of treatment.

As a Sustaining Partner that donates a grant of $20,000 (USD) or more per year your organisation will receive:

  • Recognition as a Sustaining Partner on the ITONF Website;
  • Recognition as a Sustaining Partner on the ITONF newsletter;
  • A link from the ITONF website to your corporate website;
  • The opportunity to meet the ITONF leadership at the bi-annual Business & Members Meetings to discuss issues of concern to commercial organisations, nurses and cancer patients;
  • The Opportunity to propose collaborative projects which will have priority status over those proposed by non-Sustaining Partners; and
  • Regular e-mail updates on ITONF activities.

 

Sponsorship

If your organisation funds (sponsors) a single activity such as a meeting or newsletter the following will apply:

  1. Your company logo is used on promotional material and in acknowledgements;
  2. The wording and/or position of the credit will be agreed in negotiations with your organisation;
  3. In a sponsorship agreement your organisation will have no involvement in the activity for which the sponsorship is granted;
  4. The ITONF will maintains editorial control over all materials or meeting programs;
  5. The ITONF will not endorse or promote a sponsor’s products or services

 

Project funding

In a project funding arrangement the ITONF will establish a collaborative partnership with your organisation to undertake a specific project relating to an issue of mutual interest.  Under a project funding agreement the following features will apply:

  1. Your company logo is used on promotional material and in acknowledgements;
  2. The wording and/or position of the credit will be agreed in negotiations with your organisation;
  3. Where appropriate your organisation will have representation on the project steering committee;
  4. The ITONF will maintain editorial control over all materials produced in connection with the project; and
  5. The ITONF will not endorse or promote individual products or services.
  6. Unrestricted grants

 

If your organisation provides funding through an unrestricted grant the following applies:

  1. Your organisation will have no involvement in the project for which the grant is used ;
  2. The unrestricted grant provided by your organisation will be officially acknowledged;
  3. Your logo will not be used;
  4. The ITONF controls the wording and position of the credit

 

Companies may also offer financial donations and in-kind support to the Forum however there is no obligation on the part of the Forum to acknowledge the support, although ITONF may decide to do so.
